The second and third investment project are within the Culna Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) Project, located in on the Islands of Culion and Linapacan, both in the Province of Palawan, Philippines. Both projects within CREC are expected to be ready for construction towards the last quarter of 2018.


The Culna Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) Project, is in moving towards final stage of approval procedures: technology design and feasibility study completed, approval from relevant central agencies secured, power purchase agreement with off-taker about to be executed and final approval after power purchase agreement execution from theregulatory commission to be procured.

The project consist of two power plants: the first project is a Solar-Diesel-Battery Power Generation Project located on Culion Island, Busuanga, Philippines, with Solar PV 2.8 MWp, including a durable 4.8MWh battery and Diesel Generators with a total capacity of 2.4 MW, and the second project is a Solar-Diesel Power Generation Project located on Linapacan Island, Busuanga, Philippines with Solar PV 0.33 MWp and Diesel Generators 0.54 MW.

Culion Island, with a population of around 20,000 residents, is part of the Calamian group of islands situated at the northern part of the Province of Palawan, approximately 200 nautical miles southwest of Manila. This Island is bounded on the north by Busuanga, on the east by Coron reef, on the west by West Philippine Sea, and on the South by Linapacan Island. There are no direct flights to Culion. To reach Culion Island, one needs to take a flight from Manila to Busuanga and then a van/shuttle to Coron Town, and then a boat ride to the Island. Culion Island is a developing tourist destination with white powdered coral beaches, thick mangrove forest and rich fishing grounds.

Linapacan Island has around 14,000 residents and is an island municipality in the Province of Palawan, located between Coron to the north and the Palawan mainland to the south. Linapacan Island has excellent snorkeling areas, affordable accommodation and seafood and the ruins of an old Spanish fort to explore. Similar to Culion Island, Linapacan Island can be reached via a boatride from Coron.
