Dutch Citizen/Based in The Netherlands. He brings in over 20 years of experience in urban (re)development and transformation and entrepreneurship. Besides that, he has been an independent entrepreneur for over 14 years and worked in an international environment, both for his own company as well as an advisor for business development of other companies. He is founder and owner of ContexCity B.V., a consulting firm in the field of strategic urban transformations and co-founder and owner of BUDC B.V and BUDC India Pvt. Ltd, companies involved in the development of and investment in urban areas and infrastructure in India. Before starting his own companies, he was a real estate developer with various real estate companies and responsible for the development of residential and mixed use neighborhoods. He is active in business innovation and financing models to scale up the use of green energy in cities and won an award from MIT for one of his initiatives. Manish has a very broad managerial experience. He holds a Masters Degree in Built Environment from the Delft University of Technology.

Dutch Citizen/Based in The Netherlands. He brings in 35 years of experience, mainly in technical consultancy. He has been involved with water during most of his career: water management, urban water and in (the project management of) wastewater treatment and biogas projects. From 2009 till 2015 he has been working on the development of sustainable cities in Asia. He was Head of Urban Drainage of the Ministry of Public Works in Suriname. He served for 2.5 years in India as a project manager of urban sanitation and environment projects. After his services as a resident-engineer in Suriname and India, he served for a period of 10 years as a project manager on wastewater treatment and other environmental projects with an international engineering consultancy, based in The Netherlands. Subsequently he worked for 10 years as Department Head of the Project Managers of Wastewater and Infrastructure projects. From 2009 he was engaged as project manager for the acquisition and execution of projects in China and he was responsible for setting up of an office in the City of Wuhan. He started as a freelance consultant in 2015. He brings in extensive international experience as project- and process manager, field operations, remote management of projects, reporting and monitoring and managing teams in a multi-cultural environment. He holds a Master Degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology.

Dutch Citizen/Based in Singapore. He brings in over 25 years of international experience and knowledge about business and project development in emerging economies and in complex decision-making. Currently, he is Co-Founder, CEO and Member of the Board of Directors of WEnergy Global Pte Ltd in Singapore. He worked with the World Bank Group as a Senior Program Manager. As the former CEO of a Malaysian public listed conglomerate, operating from Singapore and China, he expanded his experience in Asia in industrial/equipment process and project management, supply chain and quality management, utility operations, financing, deal structuring and commercialization of businesses. He maintains a vast network of contacts in over 65 countries, including among Multilateral Agencies. Former Programme Director with UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water and Environment (Delft, The Netherlands). He holds a Masters Degree in Infrastructure Engineering of Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands and has been trained at the Policy Development Academy of the World Bank, Harvard Business School (USA), Cambridge University (UK) and at the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).

German Citizen/Based in Germany. He brings in over 25 years of experience in Sustainable Development, of which 20 years with the World Bank Group. Currently, he is Co-Founder and Member of the Board of Directors of WEnergy Global Pte Ltd in Singapore. He operates from Neukirchen Austria, where he runs his worldwide advisory activities for Cities & Climate Change and Climate Finance issues, including advisory work on Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMA) and smart energy policies. As manager at the World Bank Institute, he created the Climate Change Practice.. As a project leader he helped introduce economic instruments in environmental management in the Philippines, started up the first Ozone Depleting Substances phase out projects in Malaysia and Thailand, and served as the economist for the China Shandong Urban Environment project. He authored the study on Russia’s Environmental Impact Assessment Capacity. He has worked in Asia, Latin America, and Europe and holds Masters Degrees in Economics and in Political Science from the FU Berlin, Germany; he has been trained by the German Development Institute (DIE); and has a certificate for an Environmental Economics Course at the HIID, Harvard.
